Company Culture
Is Not Luck
It is intention. It is energy. It is focus.
It is respect. It is care.
And all of that means you need to pour into yourself in order to have the capacity to give all of that back to your team.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Honestly, I completely understand. So many of the business owners I talk with feel the same way. So, I guess I would answer this question with a question back to you: Do you want to keep feeling busy and overwhelmed, or do you want to actually enjoy your business?
That may sound flippant, but it’s not. I’ve been in your shoes. I know what it feels like to barely keep your head above water for months, or even years. It took getting to the five-year mark plus working with a business coach myself to feel like I could see above the water line and make more intentional decisions rather than just putting out fires.
The good news is that doesn’t have to take five years to get to a point of stability. As a coach, I hold your hand through it all and give you focused guidance, regular feedback and weekly support so you feel like someone is finally in your corner.

Most of my clients have emotional blocks around numbers. It’s really common. We go into business because we are good at our core product or service, not because we are accountants. I have lots of tools to help translate your numbers into something that feels useful and manageable. We’ll work together to identify what your bookkeeping and tax needs are and ensure you have the right systems in place. And I’ll walk alongside you - helping to analyze the numbers with you so you can understand the valuable messages they share.
-
Many ‘people problems’ are actually systems problems. Together, we will assess what processes you have in place and what you need to add in order to more effectively run your team. There is a specific and manageable way to build a comprehensive system for hiring, managing and developing your staff that I will help you build and implement. Once handling your team doesn’t feel like such a burden or a series of fires, you’ll have more energy to improve the working environment which will have a domino positive effect on you and your whole team.
-
Together, we will work through my growth modeling tools, first assessing the financial viability of a new concept and then using my emotional readiness checks to determine if you will be energized by this opportunity. Not all expansion is aligned or life-improving. Sustainable growth is the goal and talking through all aspects of an opportunity with someone who knows you well yet doesn’t have skin in the game is often just what you need to confidently move forward or turn down an idea.
-
It doesn’t happen overnight, but with enough time together, we can get there. With systems, support and a direct line to your intuition, you can change how you relate to your business. Problems can feel like opportunities to grow and hard days can feel less overwhelming. But we have to work on all of it - integrating both the left brain and the right brain elements to bring you into alignment with the role that energizes you the most.
-
Through our work together, my clients have grown to move towards and learn from their numbers, take home more money, decrease staff turnover, remove stress from the hiring process and even sell their business. They have been able to reimagine their role, decrease the amount of time spent inside their business, pursue other career opportunities, improve their personal relationships and ultimately, enjoy their business much more.
-
The clients who experience the most reward in the shortest amount of time describe their business as ‘good’ when we first meet and they want to get to ‘great’. They’re already receiving financial statements on a monthly basis but need help interpreting them. They have some staff members who are a good fit, but not all of them.
If you haven’t started the business yet, my suggestion is that you get through your first two years before you hire me as your coach. . There is so much to do physically in those initial years that you really don’t have time to work on the business methodically. And if your business is one payroll away from closing, then you shouldn’t spend your money on a coach. A coach can’t wave a wand and make issues like this disappear.
-
We meet twice a month for two hours each. If you have staff, then our time together will span at least a year. If you want to go deeper into the quality-of-life work as a business owner, this will likely require a second year. If you don’t have staff at all, depending on your issues & opportunities, we will need approximately 6 months together.
-
It’s $750/month. I bill at the beginning of each month for the prior month’s time.

I get this question a lot. And while I used to do the occasional “pick your brain” sessions with people, what I found is that those people don’t end up getting the deep long-term results. Change takes consistent support and commitment. That’s why my work with you will be a deep dive into your specific challenges and headspace, as well as exactly what’s happening in your business. We will form a trusting relationship. I will be your sounding board, your soft place to fall and your cheerleader. This takes time, on both of our parts, to build.
-
Our time together is an investment in the health, stability and growth of your business. If you don’t have the time to commit to that, then it would be best to wait until you have the capacity to do so. Choosing the right time to begin working together is critical to our work being fruitful and your business being able to flourish and grow. Of course I understand that every now and again an emergency will pop up. But if you anticipate that happening more than once or twice in a year, then it would be better to wait until things get more stable.
“Working with Anne gave me a level of clarity around my goals and the direction of my business that I hadn’t been able to reach on my own. She helped me define what I truly wanted for my business journey, and then guided me through the process of aligning my operations to support that vision.
Because of her support, I was able to optimize and strengthen the business in a way that ultimately made it a turnkey operation. I can confidently say I don’t think I would have been able to successfully sell my business without her help. Anne doesn’t just offer advice, she helps you create a clear path forward and walks alongside you as you execute it.”
